Tajnuma serves from 12:00 pm until 12:00 am, seven days a week. If your train gets in late, your tour runs long or you simply prefer to eat after dark, the kitchen is still cooking. Dinner on Your Schedule, Not the Monument’s
A day in Agra tends to fill up: an early start at the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort after that, perhaps Fatehpur Sikri or a drive back to Delhi. Dinner is often the thing that gets squeezed. Our doors stay open until midnight every day, so the meal can come when the day is done.
We are on Fatehabad Road in Tajganj, the hotel road that runs alongside the Taj Mahal, so dinner here fits well whether you are staying nearby or heading out on a late train.
What to Order Late
The full a la carte menu is served all evening: kebabs and tikkas off the tandoor, slow-cooked Dal Tajnuma, paneer and kofta curries, biryani and fresh breads. If you want something lighter at the end of a long day, the shorbas and chaat make a good small meal.
For a complete dinner without decisions, the Mughlai Thali puts kofta, soya keema, dal, biryani, raita, bread and a sweet on a single plate. If you have the whole evening, the chef’s tasting menus are served course by course.
Vegetarian Throughout
Everything that comes out of our kitchen is pure vegetarian — no meat, fish or egg is cooked here. Jain preparations are available; tell your server when you order. If you have allergies, let us know at the time of ordering and the kitchen will adjust where it can.
