If you want to taste a little of everything without ordering a dozen dishes, the Mughlai Thali puts the whole
spread on a single plate: a main, a second main, our house dal, biryani, raita, bread and dessert.
A thali is both a plate and a way of eating: a complete meal served together on one large tray, with each dish in its own small bowl. Instead of courses arriving one after another, everything is in front of you at once, and you move between rich and plain, spicy and cooling, as you like.
The Tajnuma Mughlai Thali brings together dishes from across the menu: Mawa Paneer Kofta, Soya Keema Meatball, Dal Tajnuma, Veg Biryani, Kurkuri Boondi Raita, a choice of Nawabi Naan, Pudina Laccha Parantha or Tandoori Roti, and Gulab Jamun to finish.
The full list, as printed, is shown below and on the menu page.
The thali is the quickest and most economical way to eat across the menu, and it suits a lunch between monuments. If you have the evening and want the dishes brought one at a time with more of them, the tasting menus are the slower, fuller version of the same idea.
